Wednesday Music Selection #08: Bikini – Közeli helyeken (Live - Farewell Concert)

Midweek offers the perfect opportunity to slow down, step back, and enjoy a few minutes of quality listening. For our eighth music selection, we feature an iconic moment in Hungarian rock history: the live farewell concert recording of Bikini’s timeless track, Közeli helyeken.

This live version is special not just for its nostalgia, but for its raw, goosebump-inducing energy. Featuring commanding vocals, a singing crowd, and the uncompressed presence of a live arena performance, it captures a truly unforgettable atmosphere.

Why we recommend it: Because it showcases the unique magic of live recordings: the expansive arena soundstage, clear instrumentation, and genuine crowd resonance instantly transport you to the front row. There is no need to overcomplicate it—it simply demonstrates the emotional power of music when a band and their audience fully connect.

Settle into your listening chair, press play, and relive this iconic concert experience.
