Lifetime warranty - with conditions
We offer a lifetime warranty on Shepherd’s Design cables because we believe in the materials and the quality of construction – and what you’ll hear.
The warranty is valid if the following conditions are met:

The product is in the first owner’s posession.

There’s no physical damage or the presence of improper usage.

The warranty card is available.
-
The Certificate of Authenticity is available.
The absence of any of the conditions mentioned above voids the warranty.
Break-in time: time and patience.
As with all audio equipment, our cables need time to break-in as well. Some types reach their final character after up to 500 hours of use.
During this time the sound may change – it’s completely normal.
Don’t be surprised if the sound is wavy or unusual at first – this is a part of the process of maturation.
Changing cables and A-B-A Test
Our cables are not suitable for the so called A-B-A type, quick comparative tests. After any movements, plugging outs or replacements of the plugs, you’ll need time till the cable regains its optimal condition.
Even the cables that are breaked-in may needs at least:

2-3 hours to reset itself

2-3 days until the quality of sound fully restores
This is partly due to the fact that the movement of the dielectric and conductor can generate charges which can temporarily modify the sound.
Important to know
Shepherd’s Audio sends every cable to its customers carefully made, inspected and tested.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage due to improper use, improper connection, or network malfunctions, including electric shocks, device failures, or other direct or indirect consequences.
Please always install cables with circumspection.
